How are pieces transported after sale?
The gallery sends all pieces by way of Pack & Send, a 3rd party Australian based company that specialises in the transportation of valuable items such as art.
A art piece is typically packaged in the following way:
1 Layer of Cell-Air foam wrap to protect from moisture.
Minimum 3 Layers of Bubble Wrap after that.
After the protective layers, a layer of 7mm thick, double strength card on either side of the piece is added.
We then make a custom cardboard box made of the same 7mm thickness double strength card used above. Alternatively, we construct a custom wooden crate to suit the piece’s dimensions if the item’s value justifies it.
Is the cost of transport included in the price of a piece?
No. This is because the cost of transport can vary significantly depending on the final destination.
